Rich's 26th birthday was this past Saturday. We had a nice day....Rich and Shiloh went to Gymboree together while I baked him a cake and then we went out to Gwinnett and had dinner with Zach and hung out at his house afterwards.
Below is a picture of Rich's cake. He plays the bass but, of course, there are no bass guitar cake pans. Also, after working on this thing for 5 hours (baking the cake, making the icing, practicing icing, officially icing) it came time to do the strings. As you may be able to tell, I just wanted to be done at that point so they aren't very straight. Anyway, the cake tasted excellent and it was great practice for whatever I decide to do for Shiloh's birthday!

What a cool cake - I'm so impressed!
Sam has started climbing a little bit. I've noticed him trying to climb over our coffee table (which I use to block off a section in our living room) and today I let him climb the stairs while I walked up behind him. That was probably a mistake b/c now he'll think he can do it whenever....I'll just have to keep an even closer eye on him!!
