Scattegories - Bloggity Style
Currently, I don't have anything earth-shattering to blog about...so I'm playing Scattergories. Here’s how you play. Use the first letter of your name to answer each of the following categories. They have to be real places, names, things. Obviously, the more creative the better!
What is your name? Alicia
4 letter word: amen
Vehicle: astro van
City: anchorage
Boy Name: Avery
Girl Name: Ashlynn
Occupation: Anchorman
Something you wear: ascot
Celebrity: Adam West
Food: asparagus
Something found in a bathroom: acne cream
Reason for being late: alarm didn't go off
Something you shout: Awesome!

Anything but the game
Well, I do have one thing to say. I hope we don't go to anymore National Championship games for a few years. Let's keep it respectable and stay with BCS games, but that is all.
We had a great weekend with our Alabama friends! Laura is looking absolutely adorable with her not so little, but not so big belly! Saturday night we all went to Inoko's (japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you) for dinner. I was a little nervous because Shiloh napped right before we left so I knew she would be awake. She tends to sleep through outings because being in the car knocks her out. Long story short, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. She started to get a little cranky when we first sat down (an hour after we arrived) but from the moment the chef did that fire with the onion thing she was hooked! She was mesmorized by all of the twisting and throwing of the utensils, she loved it all! It was so fun to watch her watch everything!
Oh yeah, and I got my second pedicure ever this weekend! Laura and I left the boys at home with Shiloh and got pedicures Saturday afternoon. It was only okay. As Laura said, they were the fastest pedicures ever. Oh well, we stayed in the massaging chairs an extra 5-10 minutes after they were done to make up for it.

Alabama comes to Georgia
Our awesome friends Lee and Laura (Laura includes baby Ella) are on their way from Alabama to our house as I'm typing this! It's been so long since we've all seen eachother so it's kind of a big deal. I should be cleaning the house but, well, refer to previous post. I did get the basics taken care of though. They will be sleeping on clean sheets and have clean towels. What more could they want?
Lee and Laura are going to be previewing what their life is going to become in about 2 months, as they are exactly 7 months pregnant with a baby girl! Perfect timing too, if our kids are going to grow up to be bestfriends! ;)
Well, Shiloh is calling! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Blogs
I'm not sure if I'll stick with this but I want to try. I'm home with Shiloh all day so I have time and I know everyone is dying to know more about my life ;) so we'll see how it goes!
Me:
1. I am a wife and mother.
2. I am obsessed with Ohio State Football....we've had good times, bad times, much laughter and even some tears.
3. When Shiloh cries my first instinct is to laugh a little....because her face is so cute. Does that make me a bad mom?
4. We are building our family through adoption, which is something I'm still getting used to.
5. I love omelettes but I don't really care for just eggs.
6. I wish I kept in touch better with friends and I don't just mean friends from the past. I wish I picked up the phone more to call present friends.
7. All I've ever wanted was to be a mom.
8. I need to start eating healthier.
9. For the most part I really love my inlaws.
10. I'm still working on my housewife skills. I'm really good at taking care of Shiloh but not so great at keeping the house clean.
11. I am married to a wonderful husband and father. He has many qualities that I wish I had but there are definitely some he can keep for himself.
12. I am very thankful for our current home but I dream of the day we move into a bigger house.
13. I had my first pedicure ever this past September and I LOVED it! I've always had a thing with feet so the thought of making someone else touch mine just didn't seem right but I'll get over it.
14. I know it's not possible for everyone but I truly believe that if more women stayed at home with their children our society would be in a much better place.
15. I'm usually very shy when I first meet people but if you can get past that I'm a pretty decent person to know.
