Another Cute Story/Quote
Shiloh and I were upstairs in my bedroom this morning. I was in the bathroom getting around and Shiloh was looking out our window. She called me over to look at the neighbor's cat walking around outside, when Buddy starts going crazy downstairs barking at said cat. Before I could yell at Buddy to hush up Shiloh yells out, "Be quiet, Buddy! What's your problem?"
It was pretty funny.

My Favorite Shiloh Quotes
"Mama, I having issues" -She spends way too much time around me.
"I sorry... it was just an accident" -See... she usually says this when she has no reason to apologize. For example, you just accidentally bumped into her.
"Woah! Good driving daddy" -When Richard goes around curves while driving.
"Go, go, go, go" -Anytime I have to stop the car while driving (red lights, stop signs, etc)
Lately she's decided to start referring to herself as "the princess". It's cute, to me, because she came up with this all on her own. I assure we have never referred to her as a princess... that's not us. Anyway, she'll say things like, "the princess got it"... it's kind of cute.
And my FAVORITE quote...
Shiloh: "Guess what"
Me: "What"
Shiloh: "I love you, Mama"
My favorite word she can't pronounce is fruit roll up. She says fruit row yup. I love it so much that sometimes I use her pronounciation... actually, I usually do.
A quick Shiloh story....
This morning Richard woke up to find Shiloh's bedroom door open and Shiloh not in her bed. He went downstairs to look for her and as he was on the last step he heard, "daddy?" coming from the family room. He headed that direction and found Shiloh laying on the couch with her blankie and pillow. He asked her why she was downstairs and her response, of course, was, "I wanted to sleep on the big couch." She then asked him to turn on Backyardigans and lay with her. And so he did :)
I was telling my sister this, trying to figure out when she might have gone downstairs. I'm guessing it was truly some time during the night, because every morning when she wakes up she immediately comes into our room and wakes me up. EVERY morning. Plus, this was around 6:30-6:45 am. Shiloh has not woken up that early since she was about 3-4 months old. I'm not sure what to do about this. I really don't want to have to lock her in her room, and putting up a gate won't help because I'm certain she'll just climb over it. But carrying her pillow and blankie down the stairs in the middle of the night is not something I want her to make a habit of.

They're Having A...
sac!
Apparently, Andrea was EXTREMELY off with her guess of 10-14 weeks... she's 4 weeks along. She's so early when they did the ultrasound there wasn't even a baby in there yet! They go back in 2 weeks and will hopefully leave with pictures of a little peanut instead of a "black sac" as Daniel put it.

A New Addition
Andrea posted the announcement on facebook, so I'm assuming I can blog about it. My sister and her husband, Daniel, are expecting again! Andrea has her first doctors appointment tomorrow so we'll see how far along she is then. She is guessing she'll be due around the end of September. Maybe she'll be off a couple of weeks and end up adding to the list of October great grandkids... 4 out of 6 have been born in that month.
Also, just for the record, I'm calling that it's a girl... and not just because I want Shiloh to have a girl cousin. I really think it's going to be a girl!
