I Am A Georgia Voter

Today Shiloh and I participated in Georgia's advanced voting. Much to my surprise we were in and out in no more than 15 minutes. I'd been hearing horror stories on the news for the past week about people waiting up to 4 or 5 hours in early voting lines so I was a little nervous. Afterwards, I received my "I'm a Georgia Voter" sticker and Shiloh was given a "Future Voter" sticker...too cute! Then we walked over to Starbucks where I treated myself to a Caramel Apple Spice...my favorite cold weather drink!

It was pretty chilly today (the truck said 49 degrees) so I got Shiloh all bundled up in her winter jacket before we left. I've included a couple of pictures of her for my sister, Adrienne so she can see Shiloh in her jacket....A bought it for her last year.

Hip Hip Hooray! It's A Gymboree Day!

This afternoon we attended the Gymboree Halloween Party and let me just say it was too cute! The lamb costume my mom made was a success. Shiloh was a trooper and wore it the majority of the time (the party lasted 1 1/2 hr) until it just became too hot. The kids seemed to have a great time and I know all of the parents enjoyed themselves immensely!

CUPCAKES!! (Shiloh's favorite part)

Yay for the Browns!

The Browns won!

Can I Please Have An "L", Pat?

Yeah, we lost....13-6. For some reason these losses are harder on me than the blowouts. I can handle the killings from USC, Florida and LSU. Those losses just make me mad and then I move one, but these close games kind of hurt. The Buckeyes hadn't brought me to tears in a quite a few years....yes, I cried last night...just briefly though...and I wouldn't even call it crying....more like watery eyes. It's just so tough when the win is within your grasp and then you blow it. Which brings up Pryor. I know he is torn up inside, with good reason, but like they said last night mistakes like that come with having a true freshman quarterback. What are you going to do? I will say I was glad to see that he was able keep his composure after the fumble. That's a tough situation. Technically, he had just lost the game for his team but he came back for two drives and did well.
Well, that's all I have to say today. At least this afternoon is the Gymboree Halloween Party. I suppose that should be fun.

O-H.....I-O!!!

Well, it looks like Ohio State has a chance to redeem themselves. If they play like they did last week I truly believe we will be adding a "W" to our column before tonight is over! Go Bucks!!

Shiloh had just finished flipping off the tv (they were talking about Penn State) ;)

Grosgrain: Marie-Thérèse Gown GIVEAWAY!!!!

I know Shiloh is still a little young for this dress...I believe it is size 4T or 5T....but, oh my goodness, I can just imagine how beautiful she would look wearing this in a few years for Halloween/dress up. Absolutely gorgeous dress!
Even if you have no interest in this dress I highly recommend clicking on the above link and reading about the time and energy this woman put into the making it. Amazing!

12 Months

I haven't really felt inclined to share anything this week, but we did have Shiloh's 12 mth check up yesterday....and that's always news worth sharing!

She's continuing to grow like a weed! Ever since her 1 month check up she has been in the 90% for height. Well, now she is in the 97%! She is 31 inches tall. I know that her growth will of course slow down at some point but I am becoming extremely curious to see how tall Shiloh will or will not be. Like her last visit, Shiloh's weight is in the 50%....20 lbs 9 oz. When we arrived home from the doctors I pulled a Gymboree outfit from her closet curious as to how her height and weight fit into clothing sizes and height wise she is in size 18 mths but her weight has her 4 lbs away from that size. I guess I need to invest in some clothes pins or something until her weight cathes up!

Wordless Wednesday: Happy First Birthday!!

Shiloh just happened to be awake at 12:00 am last night! Rich and I went out for a date night and Shiloh just wouldn't stay asleep for Aunt A. This is what we returned home to at 11:45 pm so we just kept her up until midnight. Happy First Birthday Shiloh! Mommy and Daddy love you!
